How It Works
1. Initial Consultation and Design Planning: Our team will meet with you to understand your vision and requirements. We'll discuss your preferred type of flooring (wood, vinyl, tile, carpet, stone, or cement) and trim, and take measurements of the area.
2. Material Selection and Preparation: Based on your requirements, we'll select the appropriate type of flooring and trim. The materials will be prepared for installation.
3. Subfloor Preparation: The subfloor will be cleaned, leveled, and repaired as necessary to ensure a smooth and stable base for the new flooring.
4. Installation of Flooring: The new flooring will be carefully installed. This process will vary depending on the type of flooring:
- Wood floors: The wood planks will be acclimated, cut to size, and installed using either a nail-down, glue-down, or floating method.
- Vinyl floors: The vinyl will be cut to size and adhered to the subfloor.
- Tile floors: The tiles will be laid in the chosen pattern, spaced evenly, and secured with adhesive. Once the adhesive is dry, grout will be applied.
- Carpet: The carpet will be cut to size, stretched, and secured to tack strips installed around the perimeter of the room.
- Stone floors: Similar to tile floors, the stone will be laid in the chosen pattern, spaced evenly, and secured with adhesive. Once the adhesive is dry, grout will be applied.
- Cement floors: The cement will be mixed, poured, and leveled. Once the cement is dry, it can be polished or finished as desired.
5. Installation of Trim: The trim will be measured, cut, and installed along the edges of the room. This provides a finished look and covers any gaps between the flooring and the wall.
6. Cleanup and Final Inspection: The site will be cleaned up and a final inspection will be conducted to ensure the quality of the work. Any necessary adjustments will be made.
